Founder

Our predecessor company, Western Suburbs Wiring Services started in August, 1970 by the late Arthur Whyte and his wife Joan. Together, they trained many young people to become Electricians. We now employ a team of administrative staff, tradesmen and apprentices, as well as permanent sub-contractors, many of whom have been with the company for over 10 years.

Arthur Whyte was a very kind, generous and humble man who went out of his way to provide materials, labour and time to individuals, community groups, organisations and to those less fortunate than himself.

Hello, I am Warren Whyte, son of the founder of this company and I am proud to be continuing in the innovative footsteps of my father Arthur Whyte. I completed my electrical apprenticeship in 1979 and stayed with the family company until 1990, before leaving to pursue my career independently and after the passing of my father in 1999, I returned to manage the family business.

My father’s vision, continued with me, is to continually develop our services by becoming experts in and offering our customers the very latest technology and services associated with the cutting edge demands in the electrical industry.
